Dolgopolov reelected as vice president of International Fair Play Committee

Russian journalist is the deputy editor-in-chief of Rossiiskaya Gazeta

Russian journalist Nikolai Dolgopolov has been reelected for the post of the vice president of the International Fair Play Committee (CIFP) following the organization’s General Assembly session in the Hungarian capital of Budapest.

Dolgopolov, who is also the deputy editor-in-chief of the Russian daily Rossiiskaya Gazeta has been unanimously reelected to the CIFP Executive Committee.

Dr. Jeno Kamuti, a successful Hungarian fencer and a surgeon, has been reelected to the post of the CIFP president for the fifth consecutive four-year term.

According to the official CIFP website "since its foundation by UNESCO and a number of international sports governing bodies in Paris in 1963" the main aim of the organization is "the worldwide defense and promotion of fair play."

The activity of CIFP is aimed at national and international organizations in the field of sports and education, and professional athletes with a special emphasis on children, adolescents and those in charge of training them, namely coaches and trainers.
