Most victims in the fire, which occurred in a warehouse in Moscow on Aug. 27, were young women who were working there, head of the Kyrgyz public organization uniting diasporas of Moscow and the Moscow region Abdygan Ishakirov told media.

"This company was a printing house, and thus there worked mostly young women - of about 20-25," he said. "Practically all the victims are young women."

They all had come to work in Moscow, he added. Earlier in the day, a representative of the Kyrgyz diaspora said one of the victims was a girl of 16.

Meanwhile, a witness told TASS the young women used to work 6 days a week, having only one day off, and the shifts lasted from 8 in the morning to 8 in the evening.
