A total of 125 cities across Russia from Petropavlovsk-Kamchatsky to Murmansk will take part in Earth Hour between 8:30 and 9:30 p.m. on March 25.
The lights in around 1,700 buildings will be turned off in Moscow, which has taken part in Earth Hour since 2009. In 2016, the Russian capital saved 241 MW of power after switching off lights during the global energy saving event.
