First in line will be the Mi-26, the world’s largest helicopter. It will be followed by a group of Mi-28N, Mi-35 and Ka-52 combat helicopters. The choppers will be joined in the skies by Tu-160, Tu-95MS and Tu-22MZ strategic bombers and an Il-78 refueling aircraft. The largest aircraft will fly at an altitude of 500 m.
Representing Russia’s frontline aircraft will be Su-35S, Su-ZSMM, Su-27, MiG-29 and MiG-31BM fighters, along with Su-34 and Su-24M bombers.
The parade will also feature the Russian Knights aerobatic team flying new Su-30SM fighters, and their fellow aerobatic team Swifts.
